It was the so called tourist "boom", which would mean the arrival of famous film and entertainment personalities, and well known personalities from politics of the moment and leading entrepreneurs and business people from around the world who, being happy with their stay in the area, would become real preachers of the tourist excellences of Torremolinos which would also favour that today the town has achieved a role as pioneer of tourism in Europe.
